Rooms

Kazeya Hotel offers rooms with tatami flooring, a low table with seating cushions, and either Western beds or Japanese futon bedding. All rooms at Kazeya provide garden and mountain views of the Hida mountain range, plus a private bathroom with a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and safe. Guests sleep on spacious futons with extra mattresses available on request.

Hot Springs & Wellness

Kazeya provides three types of private hot spring baths available to guests free of charge, in addition to public indoor and outdoor onsens. The private onsens offer a serene experience with views of the surrounding forest and mountains, and are often empty for personal use. Massages can be arranged on-site, and the hotel also has an open-air bath and a public hot bath.

Dining

The ryokan offers a one-dish dinner complemented by several side dishes, with the main dish selected by the chef. Guests can order Hida-beef as their main dish at an extra cost, or reserve a full Hida-beef course meal for an additional charge. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate, featuring authentic Japanese cuisine with generous portions and careful presentation.

Kazeya is a 2-minute walk from the Shin-Hodaka Onsenguchi bus stop and a 10-minute drive from the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway Station. The property is located in the Okuhida region, about a 1-hour drive from Takayama Station, and a 20-minute walk from a grocery store and liquor store. Complimentary bicycle rentals are provided for guests wishing to explore the surrounding area.

Free private parking is available on-site at Kazeya, making it suitable for travelers who drive.
